The Wisconsin Genetic Counselors Association (WIGCA) and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) are hosting the 2024 Wisconsin Genetics Exchange.
Conference objectives: The purpose of the Wisconsin Genetics Exchange is to provide participants with an opportunity for statewide collaboration and continued professional development. Sharing knowledge and practices is an important way of increasing the competency of genetics providers in Wisconsin.
This conference provides educational presentations on current topics in Medical Genetics that are relevant to geneticists, genetics advanced practice providers, and genetic counselors, such as cancer genetics, prenatal and pediatric diagnostics, and new rare disease treatment and management strategies.
Target Audience:
This symposium is designed for genetic providers in the state of Wisconsin who identify and support patients with hereditary and familial genetic conditions. It will also be of interest to fellows, residents, genetic counseling students, and other allied health professionals.
