WIGCA Virtual Education Conference
Friday, April 30th, 2021
The Wisconsin Genetic Counselors Association (WIGCA) will be hosting our first state-wide Annual Education Conference for genetic counselors on Friday, April 30th, 2021! The conference will be virtual and open to all genetic professionals, healthcare providers, interested community members, and students. Even though we cannot all be together in person, we recognize that educational conferences are important for networking with each other and sponsors that provide critical resources and services.
This all-day event (8am-4pm) will first focus on broad topics in medical genetics, and then transition to more specialized breakout sessions for prenatal and oncology genetics, with pediatric topics included in both. Presentations will include novel updates from industry, case reviews, student abstracts, guided networking events, and more!
*0.5 0.Category 1 CEU credits available!*
The conference is limited to 250 participants. The final date to register is Tuesday:
April 27th, 2021.
We will be charging a registration fee this year as we recognize the quality of our education, as well as the need to support licensure efforts and other developing initiatives. The registration fee is $25. There is an additional $25 fee for those requesting CEUs for this conference.
